nearly everything I ate when I was in Japan had a raw egg on it. It was tasty, but a bit bizzarre to get used to the texture

When I went to Japan way back in 1974 (exchange rate 300 yen to the Canadian dollar), my favorite food was the Japanese breakfast: rice, raw egg, and seaweed. It's the one Japanese food I really miss.
