This is how hamburgers are served at the very shmancy, very expensive Roppongi Hills Club. (In Japan, non-fast food hamburgers usually come on a plate with some kind of wonderful sauce and no bun.)
This plate of egg and ground meat cost $60, and I'm sure that sounds completely ridiculous to you. But having it once was enough for me to remember it for the rest of my life. Now, whenever my Trader Joe's rice and bean dinner starts to taste boring, I just pull up this picture and let the memories of titillated taste buds tease my yawning tummy.
That sauce better be extracted from gold, the chickens wot ejected them eggs raised on a diet of opium, and the meat carved from European aristocrats, or they ain't gettin' my dorraz.
