The inventor of Cup Noodle is dead, but the world's favorite late-night snack continues to evolve. This time, it's environmentally friendly, reusable Cup Noodle containers (shown in the picture on the left). Starting in late March, Nissin will start selling Cup Noodle refills in two different flavors--regular and seafood.
I don't know how well this is going to fare. Isn't the whole point of fast food that you don't have to do dishes? But whatever. It's still a pretty cool revolutionary idea.

Doesn't seem like a well thought out idea..

I think this might actually work in Japan, but only because the rules about recycling are so strict. Seeing as you have to clean out your styrofoams/plastics already, it's almost like this new product offering will have you skip a step 'cos you won't have to throw away that cup noodles container you just ate out of, then subsequently had to wash before throwing it away.
