I don't remember that many things from my childhood, but I do remember the day my dad brought home a Family Computer. The Family Computer was Nintendo's first major game console, and it featured some of the awesomest, funnest games in the whole entire world, like the original Super Mario Brothers, Twin Bee, and Spartan X.
There's a reason why this is one of my only memories. It's because it was a pivotal time in Japanese pop culture, for kids and adults alike. I'm pretty sure my dad was just as excited as I was to be bringing this console home--just like he was equally excited when he sneaked my brother and me out of school to go the Tokyo Dome opening game back in 1988.
Anyway, this product here is not a real Family Computer (I only know one person who still has one, and that's my friend Ben Dyba) but a Family Computer Alarm Clock. You can get 5 different variations of it--each featuring different game software--and it will play you the theme song from that game to wake you up!

This is a reissue of a 3 years old "Family Computer Alarm Clock" prize for UFO catchers.
