Last week, Sergeant Miyamoto jumped onto the tracks of an oncoming train to save a suicidal woman from death. He was standing on duty at a police box nearby the Tokiwadai Station, and his natural instinct was to save her. And he did. Even though she was screaming, "I don't care if I die!" She didn't die, but he did. He died later that day in a hospital after fracturing his skull.
That really sucks to die while saving a woman who will probably try to kill herself again anyway. Let's just hope your martyrdom will prevent the woman you saved from trying it again, Sergeant Miyamoto.
