Woman Injured While Text Messaging
A word to the wise: Text messaging is bad!! Well, at least for this one 25-year old woman who fell off a subway platform and onto the tracks because she was too busy texting to notice how close she was to the edge. The woman fell after she ran into another commuter at Honmachi Station in Osaka. Unluckily for her, the incoming train was right on its way--she was saved only because the train conductor happened to see her and was able to stop the train 20 meters before he ran over her. I think she may have stopped or finished her text message by that time.
Yeah, I don't like anyone well enough to text them all the time. I can barely hold a conversation in IM...
