A woman who set fire to a Don Quijote store in Saitama and killed 3 of its employees was sentenced to life today. Serves her right.
For those of you who do not know what Don Quijote is, here's a brief explanation:
Don Quijote is chaos manifested in the form of a superstore. They sell EVERYTHING you can ever imagine (video games, face wash, a dog bed, a Rolex, a J-Lo poster) at cheap prices. They have glaring signs featuring products and sales crammed into every single possible corner in your field of vision. And they blare the Don Quijote song from speakers hidden behind the gazillion products on their shelves, which is this super repetitive, super annoying crazy tune that goes: "Dondondon donkee donkee hotay." If you stay in there for too long, you feel like you're going to spontaneously combust. Or set the place on fire.
