February 12th was a national holiday, and some sick fuck decided to celebrate by abusing his pet ferret and putting videos of the process on 2-channel. According to the Mainichi report:
...the man chose to blow off steam by squeezing the ferret's neck, smacking it on the head and clamping his hand over its mouth and nose, despite its cries of distress.
Of course our nameless heroes on 2-channel reported Mr. Animal Torturer to the police, and he was just handed 500,000 yen in fines under the country's animal protection laws. Yay!
