I think I still prefer the bottom one (with the giant mango)

Dragonfang18

I like the second one... It has a cheery feel to it and it's enthusiastic feel of tokyo

Peter

My vote is for the first (top) one. I like the darker color theme, and the drawing of Lisa and the mango is just uber kawaii.

Jenanime

I like the first one again. It's got a classic feel to it, but it's still fun with the manga-style Lisa and the kawaii mango. I love the faint, almost hidden sakura blossoms in the background too. Good luck! (Why "Mango," Lisa? Does it have a particular significance?)

Lisa

I created this blog's title (and the blog itself, as a matter of fact) on a whim, on a bored Sunday afternoon. Initially, I called it Tokyorgasmic—but I didn't want people to think it was a porn site, so I changed it to mango, my favorite fruit.

Billy Blanks

The First! one.

iamalandingpagedesigner

i like the second one

vagrant

Prefer 3, 2, 1. In that order.

Carina

The first one seems too dark for such a lighthearted blog, but I love the second one.

c

I like the first one cause it brings emphasis to the sun rays and the mango. However, the vignetting/glow effect might be an issue in terms of loading time of the background image. Therefore, I'll go with number 2. Is there any way to make the area around the mango look more like #1? Great work James. Love it.

van

Sabotaging myself once again, but James' efforts are just amazing! The anime-style mango addition is just brilliance. I like mine a lot, but it doesn't hold a candle to either of James' entries.

Sara no H.

I like the second one best. I'm not a fan of superdark backgrounds (not that you'd know it to look at my blog) -- though I do feel a bit bad about abandoning Van's design. That little mango character is just too cute!

veebee

I think the third choice suits your Mango. The lively articles and the light hearted sense of humor is perfect. The first two, is tooo dark though the graphics may look hip but that girl pisses the poop out of me. TM is suppose to be fun and look fun and let the viewers enjoy staying at the site. so THIRD

james

I definitely admire Van's work. And he gets my vote because his design doesn't "piss the poop" out of anyone.

Mike

Put down another vote for #2 from me!

mq1986

I also really love the first one. If that doesn't work, then the second one's good too. The third one...I'm just not feeling it.

pbaron

but I think the Mango in #1, #2 is missing its little stem at the top. That makes it harder to "get it".

mom

Is it possible to change the color schemes of the first two to a brighter color -like yellow or red?

stuz

#1 looks good. the darker tinted background contrasting the white background for the blog entries helps highlighting emphasis on the text and not the graphics/frame around it.. :D

Antikewl

Definitely the second one. I thought the first one originally, but then I opened them both up and flicked between the two. The second one feels less heavy and suits the blog very well.

Hi, btw! First time poster, long time reader! :D

stuz

On 2nd throughts I prefer the 2nd one... (no pun intended)
same reason as Antikewl ;)

scout

I also vote for the first one. . . but I miss the green-haired Lisa!

Llefenni

I really like number 1 - it's strong and stands out - which is what you need to get more visitors!

Yep, number 1 please :-)

(same as lots here, long time reader 1st time poster etc... !)

nyankobrulee

The dark background of the first one really brings out the props, but I agree it seems a little "dark" for this blog, so I vote for #2. But I reaaaallly like #1... ;.;
