Pluto the Poodle Promoting Public Safety

This is Pluto, a five-year old toy poodle living in Mie Prefecture. He is also a newly discovered national hero who crosses the street exactly the way a good boy should.

Police are lauding the dog's flawless ability to cross the street on two legs only when directed to do so by the owner. Pluto just walks straight across on the crosswalk, and he's been making appearances at public safety events prefecture-wide.

My parents have a black toy poodle at home, Birdie. She kinda looks like this and every time you hold a cookie up in the air she does little twirls on her hind legs. Must be a poodle thing, to walk on two legs.
