A government worker was on his way to go potty when he found a bundle of paper in the bathroom hallway. When he found it, he found a 10,000 yen note and a handwritten letter requesting that the money be used for training and education. oVer the course of the next couple of days, similar discoveries were made in 20 locations across Saitama and Akita prefectures, amounting to a total of 200,000 yen (roughly $1600).
I wonder who did it?? Is the money clean? (Probably not.) If I was gonna put that much money towards something, I'd at least be a little bit more specific on how it should be used.
I read this earlier on Mainichi. I just wonder if it was actually found in the toilet itself, or in the stall/general bathroom. Because if it was IN the toilet it's money I'd rather not have!
