Forget lead poisoning. This newly designed pencil lead from Pentel combines nanotechnology with aromatherapy, developing a pencil lead that supposedly makes you enhances your brain. Each of the three different aromas—Refresh, Healing, and Positive—were developed by smell professionals who combined elements of green tea, lemongrass, rosemary, and other fragrant herbs.
I am definitely going to use this pencil lead next time I take a test or have to write something important.

If I ever find somewhere to buy it, I will. I'm absolutely obsessed with stationary. Especially Japanese stationary, it's so much better than the American counterparts.

Lead(Pb atom#82) poisoning isn't from pencil lead. Pencil lead are made with graphite. Feel free to eat them if you want.
Pentel make the best lead! They are soft enough to write quickly without scratching the paper, and durable enough to last. (Yes, I'm very obsessed with stationery.)
Some aroma does stimulate brain function but I doubt there's enough of it here. Again, try ingesting them. lol

Me again.
Just read the article from the link. Skeptical...
Nano-particles are very tiny particles that can penetrate living cells easily. It's a rather new technology in which science does not have enough data to support its long term safety. They can enter our blood stream easily and may permanently attached to our brain.

adorita: I wouldn't worry about the safety of nanotech, because this isn't it. It's just a sales gimmick for the lead ^^'
