Considering how painfully reserved and overtly polite the Japanese are, it's no surprise that they're not having good sex! A bit hard to do a good job when you can't let yourself go and get into it.

I wonder... is it affected by those love dolls?

I disagree with the previous comment that it's because Japanese are reserved. I think it has to do with the readily available porn and sex industry.

When the price of substitute is lower, the consumption of primary product will drop. Porn and mechanical sex aids reduce frequency of real sex. And when the people already have so much fantasy about how "it should be" from the porn, they wouldn't be satisfied with the real thing.

In contrast, Nigerians have very little access to porn because the country is mostly Muslin or Catholic. They are just happy to get laid.

Besides, I doubt a radio can do an accurate survey. Durex or Trojan had a major study a few years ago. The numbers were a lot closer.
