The government just announced plans to start using wooden chopsticks as biofuel. Every year, 90,000 tons of wood in the form of disposable chopsticks is discarded in Japan. Ethanol-producing plants in Osaka and Okayama are expected to start converting these greasy choppers into wood pellet fuel soon.

While not a big deal for people to just have a chopstick bag next to their battery bag, it's clearly the small restaurants that will produce the bulk of it, or not, depending on their participation.
Also, the yellow garbage bags will fool the crows, but your nosey neighboor will still be able to tell what you're throwing away.
