This USB-powered mini desk lamp changes color depending on how fast you type. In an idle state, it glows a warm yellow; then as you start typing slowly, it turns to a faint blue. Type furiously fast and it'll get brighter and brighter.
My suggestion for use: get one for each person in your office, and the person with the darkest blue typing lamp gets bragging rights.
