
Japanese people love octopus balls, so much so that there's an entire museum devoted to them in Osaka. Now, you can make your own delicious octopus balls at home with this wonderful kit from Sugiyama.
All you have to do is get some takoyaki mix and sauce at your local Japanese supermarket, some octopus, scallion, ginger, and put it all together in this machine. Yummmm. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.
If you haven't tried octopus balls, you're totally missing out.

A friend down in Numazu introduced me to takoyaki. Mmmm...good. I take the easy (lazy) way out and just buy them frozen at the market for home use. Some mayo mixed with a bonito flake, or two makes it good.
