Carnimals—Alien Vehicles that Run for 100 Light Years

Picture_1

Let me introduce you to the world of Carnimals. This is a new line of toys from Megahouse, and—like most great products created for pure entertainment—has a fun backstory. Carnimals are actually alien life forms from a planet called Sua. On Sua, Carnimals coexist happily and peacefully with spacemen. They're actually living vehicles, not animals, and they're fueled by the mysterious Anima spirit that lives in the Sua Forest. They have a lifespan of 100 light years.

I know it says "light years" in the original Japanese, but what does that mean? It's like Han Solo making the Kessel Run in under 12 parsecs. My nerd brain is short circuiting...

I might die soon, only a few more feet to live!

Yeah, that's a good point OsakaGuy... Light years are used to measure DISTANCE, not time.

That's depressing... to know that you have a finite distance your wheels can take you. I wonder what would be going through your mind on those last few inches? So sad.

Brings a whole new meaning to "only inches from death..."

Am I the only one to think of Katamari Damacy when looking at these things ?
