That is a funny picture. It would be funny to see Godzilla hanging out on the corner in Ginza smoking a cigarette, or drinking a coffee. I'm such a fan, but had to give up godzilla.org back in the day when Toho LTD. sent me a FAX telling me to hand it over. My fan site dreams were crushed.

At least I have the free toy they gave out at the theaters in Tokyo for the last Godzilla movie.

Vagrant has a good idea. It could be hilarious to have a Godzilla actor, being filmed, going around Tokyo. Perhaps he should have a briefcase like a salaryman too.

I love the photo!

Rog

He could fight Danny Choo.

What's really interesting is that this picture is from the very first Godzilla film, "Gojira". You can tell because the original Gozilla monster has more human like eyes, which, in my opinion, makes him look a little creepier. An excellent find, and if you haven't seen the original cut of Gojira, you really should see it. It's phenomenal!

Great stuff.
What was the name of the Godzilla movie where he had a kid? The kid looked nothing like his dad, and when he tried to use his fire bretah, only small puffs of smoke came out. that was my favorite.

vagrant

Javatrader - I think you're talking about "Son of Godzilla". They were on Monster Island, or something like that and at one point Godzilla had to step on baby Godzilla's tail to get him to flame up.

I like the early Godzilla eyes too. They were funny to me.

I'd buy and wear a Godzilla costume all around Tokyo, but I don't think Toho has licensed one to be made. Seriously, I'd drop $1k for a good costume. Preferably of the older Zilla. Hmm...for that much, I wonder if I could have one custom made. I'd have to rig up a speaker too, for the sound effects.

Anyways, movement in one would be slow and limited. I doubt I could dance along with Danny...but as for my Gorilla suit...oh yeah.

meh...knowing Toho, they'd have the cops bust me for wearing an unlicensed reproduction of their "Trademarked" character. Then again I understand, if I were goofing around and kids saw me, that wouldn't be cool.
