i cant ever imagine having a waffle maker that dosnt look like that :) everyone looks like that i think, here in sweden.

Yes that true, Akaa. Even those really old ones in cast iron that you heated on the iron stove had that pattern.

Yes, Waffle makers have been looking like that since forever here in Sweden. We call them "Heart Waffles" because you can tear away the individual parts to get heart-shaped waffles.
