In 2008, Chronicle published my book: Urawaza: Secret Everyday Tips and Tricks from Japan.
I am also the founder of The Tofu Project, a boutique program that helps Japanese entrepreneurs and creators think deeper, tell better stories, and go out into the world in a much bigger way. We work with companies like Mixi, Japan Airlines, and Salesforce.com.
Sometimes I try to explain Japanese culture on CNN, BBC, CBC, WSJ, ABC (so many acronyms!) or in person at places like the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan, ETech, and Ignite!

I know who this is only because the news pops on after Sumo every other month and I wait to say; "Konbanwa" with him and click off the news shortly after.
Anyways I noticed the change, but I had no one to tell. (At least in the U.S.) I noticed his eyes mainly and thought oh, that guy is aging pretty quick. Perhaps seeing him every other month instead of daily made it easier to spot.

Lisa, this anchorman is clearly not aging normally. He could be suffering from Aids, Cancer or the JSFS, so the comments about hairdye and botox is a bit merciless, don't you think?
