Woman killed after warning neighbor about feeding stray cats

20090828p2a00m0na004000p_size5A 64-year old woman in Chiba was stabbed to death after warning her neighbor, 70-year old Kiichi Hayashi, against feeding stray cats. Hayashi is being held for murder; this is the humble defense he offered the police:

I got angry when I was warned about the cats.
