Yum. This machine, called gopan (a play on words: gohan = rice, pan = bread) makes bread out of rice. A lot of South Indian food, including dosas, are made out of rice but bread-like. Maybe that was the inspiration?

heyy, my friends in Fukushima have an organic rice farm and they saw this and told about for me who can't eat wheat, but I had to get the full news story from Lisa, thanks!
